Fantastic win for Longford last night. Early days of course but with the mix of youth and experience it looks like this could be a very positive few years if Christie is giving the right resources and commitment. Would be interested to hear the thoughts of the people at the game as I had to make do with the stream. Roll on Saturday!!

Dreadful conditions last night, but good to get the result and great to be in the final. Doesn't happen often and I think this competition is still meaningful to Longford and current management, for a few reasons. Interesting interview with Paddy Christie on OTB after the game, well worth a listen. Here is the link

Impressive performance in dire conditions last night. Early days but if that form can continue into the league we will be in good shape for promotion

Central Council meeting to discuss policy regarding age grades , on Saturday week . Plus also motions to Congress in February, but any changes there come in 2024

There will be some nice footballers coming into senior this year so. I was at the St.Mels game earlier this week and it will take a strong side to beat them in Leinster. It will be nice to see some of these lads playing senior championship this year.
