I think there's more to be discussed in Leitrim football at the minute than Melvin Gaels relegation and how can't hold onto their players. Can we discuss the upcoming county finals by any chance?

If Mohill don't walk it theres something very wrong. Its basically the Leitrim county team so they should just show up and collect their cup

Think this could be st Mary's year. Yes mohill have beat them twice already this year but Mary's look to be improving in every game. St Mary's by 3

If Carrick beat Mohill yes. But that seems highly unlikely. I think the Gaels relegation is a surprise to most people.

Glencar Manor Ladies three in a row, is a significant achievement. Hope fully themselves and Mohill give Connacht a good lash this year.

I think the intermediate semis were slightly poor, the winners won quite convincingly in the end.
Althought A'sheelin not scoring for the last quarter against what was 12 men in the end would be worrying, so based on that you would give Annaduff the nod after knocking on the door the last few years.
But the neddies are better than that performance, so the final should be tight.

3 times as they bet them in the league rounds as well. They do seem to be ahead of a young enough Carrick team at the moment. Carrick lacking any real forwards could kill then. Most of their scores tend to come from Paul Keaney frees. Hopefully it's a close game but don't think it'll be as good as last years.

What did Brennan do?

You musn't be watching Leitrim play this year only Beirne, Flynn & Quinn and Reynolds (off the bench) were part of the Mohill contingent that played the last champo game vs Sligo.

I agree, the way Annaduff put Allen Gaels to the sword will put them down as strong enough favourites. Aughnasheelin did enough to win against an ill-disciplined Kiltubrid but as you said, they are a better team than they showed on Saturday. It might be a tighter final than many expect. In the senior, I think Keith Beirne will be the difference. Marys are missing that bit of class up front that only Beirne can provide.

Apparently Keith Beirne is carrying a bad quad injury butit is my understanding he will play Saturday but wont be 100% fit. The same injury was giving him trouble in Leitrim Gaels game and he did seem to miss a few chances that he normally would've nailed over. That being said he still scored 1-7.

Would I be correct in saying if Annaduff win the Junior Championship and happen to loss the Intermediate final then Mohill can't be relegated?

I believe so. I don't see them winning junior would've been a struggle anyway but I believe any lads that play knockout intermediate can't play junior so they'll be down a good few lads. Well atleast thats how it worked for the senior clubs. I also believe Aughnasheelin will have too much for them.

correct, they have lost 2 forwards and possibly 1/2 more players after the final, they would fancy their chances vs marys but the final will likely be a bridge too far for either side against a 1st team, especial when their clubs may be looking at connacht games

If and it's a big if! If Carrick can hold Keith to a few points instead of his usual 1-6/7 it will go a long way in winning the game

I actually think that Mary's will beat Mohil tomorrow. It will be a close game Mary's are a coming team and I think with Alan Flynn they have an excellent coach knows how to win big games as a Coach. He will have his homework done

What looked like an amazing draw could end up with Leitrim playing in San Maguire not Tailteann cup. Hard to know what to think a provincial final would be great but would fear a four team group in Sam Maguire.
