Looking like a ballinamore St Mary's league final, mohill seem to be out even if they beat fenagh as I believe it comes down to score difference between the 3 teams and not the entire league ? open to correction on this ?

A sensible move by Andy Moran and Leitrim county board to end the manager term after three years.

Is Moran heading back to take up a role with Mayo or even the main job? We have a great manager in with us at the minute. I really hope your CB doesn't come calling for him. I don't know what we would ever do if we were to lose Paddy to ye. Please Leitrim CB, don't come enquiring about the best manager Longford has ever had. I beg you.

Andy Moran was talking about doing another three years only last week what made him or the county board change their minds?

Was it a 3 year agreement? If so then yes, I think he has improved us but probably as much as he can.
Hopefully Graham will take the reins if he has not stepped away also, though there will probably be competition for him.

Andy said to be being lined up to come here, which I disagree with. He did all that could be expected of him in getting promotion and a few TC wins, but history shows that overall counties are far better off with a homegrown manager. Best of luck in the hunt for a replacement.

I think it was Andy's decision based off of the statement. Strange as he done an interview a week ago in the Irish Independent where he made it sound like he wanted another term or three.

Possibly recent vacant jobs have perked his interest. Mayo and Roscommon job could be open soon and Kildare have no manager either. We knew Andy was always going to bolt once a "better" job came up so it seemed strange to me to put him in charge of this "long term project" in the first place.

Search is on now to find a new manager I personally would like to see someone from within the county put in charge. Does anyone have any names that would be good. Mickey Graham is probably a shoe in for the job but I don't think we should put all our eggs in one basket.

Good move for everyone. Andy obviously has another gig lined up. Personally I'd have got rid of Andy after last year. Ive seen no improvement under him. Probably a nice fella who the players liked. If Mickey Graham doesn't want the job it will be interesting to see what direction the county board go. I'd like to see a Leitrim man in charge, no stand out candidate I know.

Good auld Andy ran to the media last week to profess how he was looking forward to another year with Leitrim and lone behold he's gone. His time in Leitrim will be remembered for one thing and one thing only... New York. The media has his back. He'd have got the door were it not for Mickey Graham. Mickey has a job on his hands next year (I expect he will take the job) and by all accounts we'll be doing well to stay in Division 3 next year. We can put a few pound to developing underage, which is what we should have focused on from the day Terry Hyland handed in his notice.

He either knew he took us as far as we possibly would go or someone else else wants him and it sounds more exciting...or maybe he is just sick of being out in dark evenings in the cold winter time. It is curious he is going after saying he wanted to stay, is there an issue with the county board there?

I think most people here like Mickey. But will be be offered the job? Time will tell

I don't think Roscommon job would have perked his interest!! My guess is there will be a shake up in Mayo back room team and he will be there with an eye on taking the manager job when McStay departs

Hearing from well placed officals that two time all ireland winner, Tommy Joyce has been asked if he would be interested. Tommy led his club as player/manager to a connacht final in 2010 and also managed Galway Minors in his time.

If Mickey Graham is in charge, Leitrim will definitely be relegated to Div 4. Remember her brought Cavan from Div 1 to 4. In that time Cavan contested 2 Ulster finals winning one. He will concentrate on the championship.

It looks more like the County board didn't agree to a new 3 year term
