You gave us a right humble but It's more Armagh for me tbh is the problem in two weeks.

They looked brilliant against Monaghan maybe unlucky against Galway but their just not scoring goals

They should be top good for division two but I just backed them against Donegal and Mayo but theirs something with maybe it's the retirements and squad depth

I'd expect you to relegate Armagh in two weeks

Replying To endgame:  "Yes it's a reality check. Roscommon were being talked up as All Ireland contenders last weekend. We have probably done enough to stay up in Division 1 and that would have been the objective at the start of the League. I agree that Mark Dowd will learn plenty from today's defeat. That will be useful come the championship. Incidentally, Dublin were being written off and that seems premature after today. They'll be in the equation come Summer."
It would been objective it is probably done maybe a draw needed

But theirs good work done in Roscommon with clubs and underage getting to all Ireland semi finals and stuff it just would of been nice to see a Roscommon team win a national trophy

The senior aren't going to win the all Ireland maybe the league was there but seems like mayo and Donegal will be in the final

We did all we could battering Donegal in 23 (can't see that happening again) but Galway bet Kerry so missed out then

Our last division 1 final was in 1980 Im in the minority but I would of liked to see us there for a change instead of a division 2 final every 2-3 years

Replying To Drax_the_destroyer:  "Watched back on the full game. Roscommon who was so accurate and clinical against Armagh,Galway was so wasteful today. Dublins scoring total of 1-21 not much different to what Armagh,Galway scored against Roscommon yet a lot more of the Dublins scores came from cheap turn overs.

Was Roscommon involved in heavy training the last week or did the 3 games in 14 days really test the conditioning of the players especially the new faces?"
I'd suspect the 3 consecutive games left a flatness.
Some of our attempted 2 pointers in the 2nd half were a sign of tired minds/bodies.
There's size and physicality issues too, especially with so many ney lads on board.
Or is it not able to live with teams upping the ante in March while we had it upped during February ?

3 games in a row didn't leave Kerry mayo Donegal Galway flat? If we had lost yesterday by 2 or 3 points then I think that wouldn't be a problem but the fact the dubs gave us a good beating while missing some of there top players isn't good. Is it a weak mentality we have. It's hard to tell but it's like we weren't mentally ready yesterday and the dubs took full advantage. Two very tough games left now against probably the two best teams in division 1

Wouldn't Kerry, Mayo, Galway, Donegal be miles ahead of us in conditioning?
That can be worked on but if a mental thing would be more worrying.

Thankfully we didn't play the way we did yesterday in the previous games or we would be on zero points and a 10 plus point beating off Kerry instead of one point defeat on the hooter.

How and why we were so poor will have to be mulled over before round 6 by the players and management now. Donegal,Mayo to play and both will be going all out to reach the league final. We need the return of grit, determination high work rate that was seen against Kerry,Galway, Armagh and Monaghan. And sort out our shooting, we had roughly the same amount of efforts as Dublin yesterday and our strike rate was poor at 30%.

I'd say ye peaked to soon . Also maybe being favourites didn't suit ye. As Dubs are still well off.

Mayo better than Kerry? I doubt it.

I agree with your post.
Dublin were really up for it yesterday and fully deserved their win. They also had there shooting boots on for the two pointers but were given far too much space
Apart from Senan and Colm the whole team seemed to lack energy yesterday. Did we get the match - training balance right as they seemed to be "off it" from the very start. Having said that we had two or three goal chances that we did not take which would have given the team and supporters a lift.

Do not want to take from Dublin's victory as they ensured we did not play well and dominated in a few areas. Big improvement needed in order to get any additional points in the league.

Right now ya id say mayo will give Kerry a good go in two weeks and the winner will join Donegal in final.
