Yes, as he has to have an operation on a groin issue that has bothered him for the last year or two.
The operation will keep him out for 6 months or so.....he has not had the operation yet.
That is why he is not on the panel as he will miss the whole league and possibly championship.

All due respect (and best wishes) to the lad but he was hardly going to keep one of the Smiths, Murtaghs, O'Carroll, Cregg, McKeon out of the team or bench.

Would have stated his injury if that was the case. If he returns for the championship it will probably be for his own county Longford than Roscommon.
