Replying To GDL:  "He was at Pearse Stadium on Sunday at the game. He was sitting behind me with other panel members."
Think he posted on Instagram in the last 2/3 days and people jumped to the conclusion that he was away when it wasnt a live photo. Number of injuries is frightening and i know some of the clubs would query the county setups . The u20's have had a horrendous time with injuries . by all accounts Liam Silke initial injury was a toe and he injured his hammer after some mad runs after training. I'm not sure if they understand the concept of managing load

I rarely miss the mark. I didn't say anything about when Walsh was in Bali.

He's incredible. The most snide, most strange poster on here, and it's a competitive battle for those titles.

Cunningham has to start this weekend. Ridicolous the amount of time hes getting, he looks like a right good player and atleast deserves a full chance

Didn't Liam Silke break his toe playing soccer?

If he was there instead of niall daly last weekend he would have buried goal chance, nothin against niall daly but he needs to be played further out field

Look at the Mayo game last year, we were 5 points up and off goes Comer at halftime injured and Sean Kelly played as a walking wounded and that cost us a place in the Quarter Final. Mayo then hammered in the Quarter Final but a fully fit Galway would have made a far greater effort than Mayo in that game.

Replying To John Doe:  "100% McGrath and Glynn need to be our corner backs for c'ship if fit.
As others have stated about our high level of injuries over last few years I think its time we looked at getting a new head physio for the team as no matter how good the current physio is at her job time waits for no man or woman and I'm sure there has been many advances in that area in recent years that we are missing out on like someone said about Dublin having elite level physio's.
The amount of injuries our players suffer is unacceptable and would not be tolerated in the likes of Kerry or Dublin.
Most likely IF this is PJ's last year in charge a new manager will bring in a new physio next year also."
If Glynn plays, who doesn't.
Sean Fitzgerald has started every game since last summer and one our best performers wh3n we lost to Mayo. McHugh will start, Daly and Sean Kelly will start and Silke will definitely start so it's fine saying Glynn has to start but other guys are going well. Molloy is also coming back from injury and I wouldn't dare write him off.

Give the lad a chance for God's sake and don't be writing him off like that. I look forward to Cunningham developing into a great senior Galway footballer. Less of the begrudgery please from so-called Galway supporters. Leave all that sort of stuff to our opponents.

I for one think that Cunningham deserve a fair chance he a quality forward in my opinion, in fairness it's not as if Galway are blessed with forwards so far in league Kieran Molloy , ( defender) cian Darcy ( midfielder) Niall Daly ( midfielder) all played in forwards and in reality, both Heaney and sweeney are wing backs , just hope management afforded him same game time as other forwards then we can judge , in reality Galway need to be planning with comer and Walsh over next year or 2 they just miss so many matches injured great addition when they fit but unfortunately that's rare

To say he is not good enough shows you're knowledge. O'Conghaile, O'Curraoin, Cunningham, Egan are the players introduced this league. Hopefully McCabe will be next year. They need to be given every chance to impress alongside established players. Look at all the new faces on the Dublin team that bet Kerry who might not be playing come championship, but give them a year or two of league football and they are ready. Lot of new faces for Kerry also. Bar O'Conghaile, I don't think Joyce has given them enough time yet, all be it he is under pressure to stay up.

Looks like Fitzgerald will be full back for sure. I think with everyone fit Jack Glynn would start in the corner and Sean Kelly would start at midfield. So -

McGrath Fitz Glynn
Silke Daly McHugh

I think that would also give you options in terms of how you set up and how you transition - Liam Silke has obviously played loads of football in the full back line and Glynn has been a half back all the way up through underage.

Kieran Molloy at his peak was a loose enough defender for inter county and he doesn't look the same footballer this year. What injury are you referring to? He played a full club season in 2023. Not sure how long you think he needs. He shouldn't be playing at wing forward either - we have enough defenders up there.

Sean Mulkerrin has had plenty of games this year and it would have been hard to be impressed. I think if he was going to start he would have dislodged Fitzgerald from 3. He doesn't look like a Paraic Joyce corner back.

Cian Hernon is a big loss and would have been my choice at full back.

It's hard to see us doing much in the championship. The year we got to the final we had everyone fit all year - Shane Walsh, Damo, Cillian McDaid, John Daly - lads that had regular injury problems over the years got a great run at things and we did well. We have quite a few obvious deficiencies at the moment and maybe with better luck next year we can do more. Hopefully I am wrong and we win the lot.

Nice player at club level in the Intermediate football championship and Division 4 league, he is not good enough. Nothing personal against the lad.

Trust me, I know. I will be back in the future to back my view and opinion. Did PJ have him in the squad v Mayo?

You don't, you may be right, but impossible to know until he and other lads are given more game time. Irrelevant who was on squad vs Mayo, there are lads coming in and out of Dubs squad in league all the time. Also not sure regarding you're point on playing intermediate level football, that's also irrelevant.

How would playing intermediate, and bearing in mind this guy has been a junior player for most of his adult life, be irrelevant?
