I think we're due for a big result. Hon Galway!

Anyone who thinks this Galway team are in the top 4 in Ireland are in Cloud Cuckoo Land, based on how the year has gone so far.

Your a terror...you haven't said one good thing all year about the Galway hurlers only that they will get hammered in every game!

Jays lads....there will be enough outside your own county willing to dig the boot in... Would you not wait until Monday to start writing any potential obituaries?

Galway aren't in great nick at the minute. Fine. You're still in the hunt for now. You will almost certain be Betty than you were in the Leinster final so possibly look at silver linings until you're actually out?

We'd love to be looking at a quarter final now but instead we're starting the club next Friday.

I am not even sure Tipp are better than Galway tbh."
Hadn't "heard Stop the Lights" in 4 decades !! Just saw Bunny Carr flash before me. My order is based on which teams each has played Tipp have beaten Clare, Waterford and tied with Limerick. I think they would have given Cork a decent game, I don't think they would have beaten them, if the half forward wasn't sent off so early. Ur right they are young and make stupid mistakes. KK are more stable with their team and had injuries, its a toss up really for #3 spot. I'm hoping Galway give them a good game this weekend, a lot would have to go right for Galway to win, but its not impossible.

Terrible team selection. Wouldn't inspire anyone who was undecided to travel to Limerick.

Watching them all year. Lots of problems. Can't be fixed overnight. Can't see it happen

Replying To Overdahill:  "make that 3!

Lot of people buying the Munster hype that Tipp are automatically 3rd in the country because they were competitive in Munster. 50-50 game this weekend with us shading it due to having comfortably the best player on the pitch and KK would beat either imo"
Make that 4!!
I've been going to Galway hurling matches since the mid 80s and I've always had hope of us winning, this evening is no different. 37 of those 40 years have ended in disappointment and I'm sure this year will make it 38 but what about, it'll hardly come as a shock to me at this stage!
There always has to be hope, be it big or small....otherwise why do we go!

It's hard to feel positive about our chance. At least this time we have our first choice goalkeeper back who might actually direct his puckouts to where Galway players might win possession instead of misdirecting them to the opposition. Against that, even with a 6.15pm throw in, playing conditions are likely to be warm and stuffy which may sap the energy of some of our older stalwards, especially when coming up against fast young opponents. I'm afraid I cannot see anything other than a Tipperary victory but I live in hope!

Embarrassing effort as we all predicted. Backs getting run around by lads like Jason Forde, John McGrath, Noel McGrath. Fair enough if it was 2015 but it's 2025. We are playing lads there that aren't even intercounty hurlers. No positives from a dreadful season, the worst squad in over 20 years.

In all my years following galway hurling this has to go down as one of the worst displays ever as the commentary guys said it was like a challenge match no passion or fight

That's because 3 to 4 years of good players weren't developed while Henry Shefflin wanted to win a quick All Ireland and go back to Kilkenny. No interest in developing galway hurling long term.It will take a very long time to sort this out.

Toothless. Utterly Toothless.
Can't believe that was a Galway team against a Tipp team. At least they could've shown some sort of fight...
