i heeard the exact same, that the only reason himself and the backroom team took the job was to stay in the intercounty circuit

I like Davy Fitz with that fire and passion more so than a statue who stands on the line smiling to himself.

Passion doesn't mean success alone sure Henry cared and wanted win sometimes you need extra thing and didn't happen with Galway can't blame on Henry Galway have and this issue for years need injection of youth too

I have nothing but respect for Henry Shefflin and I would shake the man's hand and thank him if I ever had the chance but I agree with Katser in that Davy would bring passion, interest, and experience to the team if he were to get the job. I have nothing against MOD but didn't he just leave us? I hope the best possible person gets the job no matter where they're from. Galway Abu.

Castlegar are the masters of the "false dawns". Nearly every year we hear they've the potential to go deep into the championship. I hope you're right. I'd like to see them do well. But at his age Ger Farragher surely wont be their main man if they do. About time a few younger ones stepped up to drive on the team.

Watching camogie final from afar...Cork have emptied bench and fresh legs have made difference. Galway, like footballers, don't use subs. Why is this?

Did Cork not throw that ball over the line for goal?

Another poor attempt at success.. no score in nearly the last twenty minutes. You'd really love playing Galway or Mayo in some sort of final when those sort of trends come all too often.

Our winning ratio in the senior grades is horrible across the 4 sports.

1:4 win ratio in the women's football, mens hurling and camogie. And nearly a 1:3 win ratio in men's football.

Serious questions need to be asked about our approach to GAA... From coaching and developing styles and patterns of play to mentality.

When all your teams are losing final after final then something is going wrong.

Not as much going wrong as in counties that don't reach finals. Galway were rank outsiders in the football and camogie this year, so that was bound to provide no improvement to your 'statwatch'.

Give Cork some credit, they had more scoring threat, and a defense designed to avoid goal concessions. Give Galsay credit too for making the final, some players there with 2 all Ireland medals trying to come back for more.
