John Fleming, Mark Kennedy, Paddy Commins (did acl), conor walsh, sean loftus, dylan shocx, to name a few all deserve a year or two on panel to progress and see if they have something to offer, a month or two and back to the club for the year isnt going to cut it, cork didnt disregard their youth when they didnt deliver and drop them, they invested in them and look how they performed this year

Club championship is only around the corner. Hasn't been too much talk about it at all. Has been really no build up unless they start it tomorrow. Might as well give a shot at the predictions for the weekend. Off_the_post (Galway) - Posts: 7 - 06/08/2024 17:48:39 2564068 Link 1 |
I can see a ardrahan upset, joseph, kevin and morriset injured, is ardrahan are anything like they were last year they are really a dark horse, wonder will johnny Glynn play the club champo, i agree with all the rest of your predictions cant really see much upsets in the first round. I doubt group stage matches will be streamed as it would be surely advertised by now

Probably has to do with the camogie final on Sunday. I know there's just a few intermediate games scheduled for Sunday and they are not clashing , but if theres no livestream, it might encourage a few more supporters to make the trip up to the camogie.

So is Michael coming back to ye??think it definitely has to be one of yere own and just maybe he has unfinished buisness..also he might be the man to ease out some more senior players..Davy would improve the profile in Antrim but would players buy in??dublin won't be a problem travel wise or financially. Darren Gleeson is another who might be in running for the dubs??is he an option in Waterford??interesting week or so on the way.. It looks highly likely that Donoghue will be the Galway manager......I would have loved to see Davy Fitz get the job!

Really, Davy Fitz, its like the last Clare lad did so well we will go back for a second go. It should always be an appointment from within the county in the hurling.

Davy would have been the panic option.
