Good win for Galway over Antrim. Nice to see new blood getting a chance. The deeper the Galway Hurling team is the better their chances against physical teams with deep benches like Limerick. We play them 2 weeks in a row now I think, in Walsh Cup and League. The league game is the most interesting from a Galway perspective because it's taking place in Wexford Park. Away games tend to be that bit tougher and therefore more revealing. Probably 2 completely different teams fielded by both sides in each game I'd say! I'd also imagine Egan and Shefflin will be keeping a good few cards up their sleeves til Salthill. Even so it should be a great test for some of the newer lads on both panels, especially the game in Wexford Park. Apparently every hotel room is booked in Wexford Town the night of the 4th. I saw it and it's very good....its hard to believe that Oillie wore a 6yr olds helmet in the '94 All Ireland Minor Final!!
