<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao3WGXLIX3M">link</a>"</div>I see what you're doing there; but you're not codding anybody : ) This is 31 v 1 time. Everybody in Ireland will be rooting for Mayo, and the ref will certainly not be immune. Tyrone will get no breaks or soft frees at all, guaranteed. That means Tyrone would need to be winning comfortably, and nobody wins comfortably against Mayo; Dublin at their best couldn't do that. It's not impossible that Tyrone could win; but it's more likely that Mayo will win a tight game by a few points. Tyrone scraped past Kerry by a point, primarily due to better work rate and hunger. Mayo is every bit as good a team as Kerry, and they will not tire obligingly like Kerry did. Had Clifford been on for added time, Kerry would have won. If Tyrone play like they did against Kerry, it won't be enough. Tyrone scraped past Kerry by being quite good the entire game. Mayo beat Dublin more convincingly by playing one good half! If Mayo put together 2 good halves, we've had it." No offence lad but that is nonsense. There are as many people desperate for Mayo to lose and O Shea to have a stinker as there are well wishers. Social media will back that up."]The hatred towards O'Shea is sad to see. He's to Gaelic football, what Jamie Heaslip was to rugby, a magnate for vitriol. I don't mind who wins, two very good teams but I do hope O'Shea has a good match similar to what he did in the second half against Galway in the Connacht final.

Replying To Tirchonaill1: "That's what we expect from Rte up here in Ulster, don't think it will bother Tyrone though, they know what to expect from the southern media, think Mickey Harte done right to totally blacklist them, I'm dreading having to listen to the Rte commentary and that panel of pundits. Cora ukSean and probably O'Rourke tomorrow?" Why not watch the game and mute all the blather! A simple solution!

Replying To downredhand: "I think the winner of the game will be clear after about 20/25 minutes.
Whilst I think the 2 teams are fairly evenly matched in terms of ability and tactical approaches I think tomorrow will show that one team has already "played its final" in getting past a more fancied opponent in the semi final. So I expect one team to win with a wee bit of clear distance as opposed to the score for score draw that most of the professional pundits are predicting.
Even though this is my theory I don't honestly know which of the two will prove to have the extra step in them but I obviously hope it is my own county.
Either way I sincerely hope that the game is won by something positive rather than lost by a perceived error mistake some that some poor lad isn't castigated all over the place.
Tie Eoghain Abu" Mayo were trailing by 6 at half time in their last two matches. And tyrone threw away a considerable lead in the ulster final.
The final will not be decided after 25 miniutes.

Expecting a tight game but we have the players to win it, pressure might get to the Mayo lads, they are the favs so hopefully we can upset the odds again. Safe travels to all.

From my experience a Mayo loss will be greeted with cheers by many in Connaught outside of Mayo.

Are the Meath team from 1996 being brought on for 25 anniversary team this year or is this not happening this year because of Covid? Will be interesting if they are brought on as we had some good tussles with Mayo and Tyrone in 1996.

Replying To arock: "Staggering how the media especially RTE have utterly ignored Tyrone. Its actually irratating, listen to the village idiot Marty tripping over his tongue with gushing cliches." You might have missed it while staggering over your irritation but RTE news were in Tyrone yesterday, Mayo today same amount of time given to both counties.

Replying To baire: "Why not watch the game and mute all the blather! A simple solution!" Well I don't listen to the pundits but it takes away from the thing, as bad as Brolly Spillane and O'Rourke were I used to listen to them sometimes anyway, Rte commentary of Marty, Ger Canning, Dessie Dolan etc I just can't listen to them, if I put the radio on it's doesn't match what's happening on the tv they are maybe 30 secs ahead.

That year was the beginning of Tyrone. Thanks to all of Meath.
