Ticketmaster Fiasco

It is an absolute disgrace that people were left waiting all today on the ticket master website to purchase tickets for the ladies Final. Also frustrating people unable to pay for the tickets already allocated to people from the two counties in the Boys Minor Final on Saturday.
GAA and LGFA should lodge a formal and public complaint and penalise Ticketmaster.

It happens sometimes..
lodge formal complaint with who?
Ticketmaster already know about the issue and will do more/make changes if necessary to ensure it doesnt happen again
Penalise Ticketmaster how exactly?

Penalise by reducing their commission as they did not provide the service as agreed.

The clubs only proved names Of members requesting tickets to the GAA, then an email is sent to the purchaser and ticket master handle the payments.

You obviously have a lack of knowledge of how business works kf.
Gaa/LGFA have contracted Ticketmaster to provide a service. If this service is not provided to the agreed standard there would normally be financial consequences for the service provider

Penalise them? Take the contract from them. This happens on a regular basis with them.

Ticketmaster should never get GAA tickets, it only takes the numbers away from genuine club members who want tickets.

Good luck with that, you'd never get any online ticket company who facilitate sales to agree to that and delays/mistakes can happen
Look what happens with other major events and especially over subscribed events. the site sometimes cant cope with demand...

Brutal site. They should have an option to choose which game you want to queue for and how many tickets are available. There are still tickets available in upper stands for the ladies final but, on phone amyway, it's tricky to figure out how to select seats and the 10 minute clock ticking. Not sure if being a member of GAA.ie ticketmaster or not is any benefit. Was wondering if it's slow because they're doing anti fraud checks? All Ireland tickets are valuable for touts in a full Croke Park, they're surely more prized possesions in a reduced capacity.
