Dubs V Mayo

Awful performance from Mayo. What a miss by Aidan O Shea. Mayo need to start pumping balls into him in the second half, he can fetch the ball and hopefully score a goal. Turgid match so far, disappointing. Where is the Mayo fighting spirit?
This match looks over from the 15th minute. Unfortunately.

Replying To BilboNaggins:  "Oh the green and red of mayo, i can see it still....
They're crying in the hogan, they're silent in the hill....

Dublin are going to lay down a big marker to put to bed this chat about them losing their touch.
Expect Dublin to win with at least 8 to spare."
Well on their way! Mayo have been underwhelming to put it lightly

Especially for Dublin.

Forward mark is a disgrace. Dublin kick the ball 20m side ways and about 1m forward but across the line, mark, point.

Not a single mark was from a catch over the head

I'm getting more entertainment from the optimistic souls who claim that Dublin will be beaten than by the actual games themselves.

Getting beat everywhere. Dublin look very sharp. Might as well go for broke now. Losing by 1 or 20 is the same result.

I've said it before. Dublin are conditiined athletes first and foremost, professional in all but name. Speed, height and stamina is what wins them games. They are not the most attractive football outfit but they do what they do to win matches. In truth it's just awful to watch. This is the position that Croke Park now have Gaelic football in. ONE totally professional outfit who have been financed to the hilt and provided with top notch facilities and coaching. The GAA just bury their head and plough on as they are reaping the financial rewards. The rest of us are just bored and really have had our fill of this crap.

4 points in 37 mins, 2 from play. Sorry to see this abject Mayo performance in the first half. Sure if they were playing the maroon and white they'd nearly put it over from the corner flag and they'd burst themselves in the ferocity of the tackling, now they're kicking them wide in front of the posts and letting Dublin stroll without a hand going in. Truly awful. Hope they can raise it massively in the second half and make Connacht proud. Can't see these Dubs being beaten today, hoping I'll be wrong.

Was there an outbreak of COVID in the Mayo camp. I can't believe that Dublin only have a 6 point lead. Dublin totally in control not a worry in the world. What was that song Johnny Logan had.
