Well folks.

Thoughts on game? Team news?

should be a routine victory for a top div1 team against a div 4 outfit. anything else will be a massive shock( akin to last year's Ulster final)

You'd have to strongly fancy a Tyrone win, hard to see Cavan putting up much of an effort after their dismal league campaign, then again Tyrone are coming out after a hammering from Kerry so I don't know, if I was putting money on it I'd say Tyrone by 5 or 6 points but you just never know with Ulster football,
Cavan have a lot riding on this to show their Ulster win wasn't a total fluke last year so they may turn up a different animal than we seen in div 3.
hope they knock lumps out of each other and it's a good close enjoyable battle.

I'm expecting a Tyrone victory. Cavan will put it up to Tyrone but we have more quality, and a much stronger bench.

How many supporters allowed in?

Unfortunately it's on sky so many many can't see it

It might be time to accept the result of Ulster Final 2020. For the record Cavan 1.13 Donegal 0.12

This could be anything from a tight struggle to a blow-out win for Tyrone. The former is more likely. Wouldnt think the Kerry result is at all relevant for Tyrone, but even still they haven't the same swagger as 3 or 4 years ago.

Take into account that before lockdown last March Cavan looked like going back to Division 1. Think it was the Roscommon match after lockdown done the damage. Still think Tyrone but who knows on the day. As for how many spectators, if it was rugby or soccer there'd be different rules. England are changing rules by the day so they can get full houses in Wembley in case they make final.

Deferred at 7 or 7.30. By that stage you know the score

This will be an interesting game for the neutral, I didn't think Cavan had a chance of winning ulster last year when I saw them play Roscommon in their last or second last league game but fair play they put some run of games together in the championship and were very impressive,

Now I know they had a poor league again this year but they probably used the league to blood a few new lads and work on some new systems so il give them a good shout to beat Tyrone at the weekend,

Tyrone are still working on their new defensive setup and they've had 3/4 weeks to work on since the league so it'll be interesting to see if they'll stick with the new way or revert to the defencive setup they had under Mickey Harte, if Tyrone can get the ballance right at the back they'll be hard to stop and they have excellent forwards that can do the damage at the other end.

Can't see anything other than a Tyrone win at a canter.

The Cavan squad is very thin with injuries to key players i just hope they put in a battling performance as it has been a hard year after the heroics of last year.

Looking forward to this game. It will be really interesting to see how the new Tyrone management line out the team and what style of play they adapt. They seemed to be going more direct in the league but will they revert to the tried and trusted today. I see Conor McKenna is injured, are Cathal McShane and Darragh Canavan available?

Cavan are a total enigma, they don't seem to show up in the league at all and then come championship time they are brilliant. Can they reproduce the form of last year, if they can then this could be a tight enough game.

Aye Tommy, Tyrone still put the wind up Kerry for sure.
Still a bit sore it seems alright.

I've just eaten a whole bag of sweets, and am having a serious sugar rush. I need something bitter and sour to combat it.

Think I'll go back and read all of Catch 22's posts.
