Mayo won't underestimate Clare who are a fine team. We played them in Ennis in the qualifiers a few years ago and they gave us plenty of it in the first half. Just because the defence might play down to a lower division team's level doesn't mean that they will play well against better teams. Meath weren't full strength either, smartly concentrating on the semi final. The experience of Clark and Barret are a big loss to our defence. He doesn't have Clarks shadow hovering over him every time he plays as No1 now, and his kick-outs are far superior. You have put Meath on a false pedestal , and when the inevitable happens you start piking fights with other counties to deflect away what you already know...
