GAA Insurance.

What is the point to GAA insurance? Every year there is a cry and a whine from clubs about insurance As you not covered for injury etc. Surely every player in Dublin and Monaghan caught on a GAA pitch without insurance should get a 6 month ban? I am fed up chasing juvenile membership and saying how neccessary it is yet county stars do not need it for their training? I think there should be ability for the ordinary club player to sign an insurance waiver if some need it and some dont. Some clubs have a massive levy on adult players for insurance as part of their membership, yet Des Farrell and Seamus McEneaney deem it ok for their pampered pets to train without it.

My understanding is Inter County doesnt have or need insurance as players pay for it in their club membership.
