Been following the gaa for 23 years and can honestly say Ive never given a toss about this accolade. Even if the process was legitimate, without moving lads to other positions to throw them an all star etc, and the 15 recipients were all unanimously agreed to have been worthy, I still wouldnt care.
I'd literally have more interest in the o Byrne Cup (and I'm not even bothered about the actual leinster championship) than who wins an all star and in what position.

That is all."
The All Stars lost all credibility in the 1990s when in 1994 Brian Whelahan wasn't picked. And in 1998 he was picked at full forward even though he never played the position.
