GAA Season Tickets

(Oldest Posts First)

As a loyal GAA supporter and having spent 300Eur for a season ticket and have tried/trying to make the most of it in 2020.

I have been to the following in games in 2020 so far:
Kilcoo v Ballyboden (Non Season ticket)
All of Tyrone's McKenna Cup games
Club All-Ireland Senior final
Club All-Ireland Jr + Inter Finals as well as Dublin v Kerry
Tyrone v Meath - HEALY PARK

Made aware by a fellow holder. Logging onto my GAA season ticket it appears that I did not attend yesterdays game. So I would like to notify or warn all Season ticket holders to check your season ticket profiles after each game to ensure that they are accurate as the attendance % does have an impact in the latter part of the year.

Any other grounds other than Healy Park have this issue please share and make others aware of this error!

Don't sweat. Your attendance doesn't often register until Tuesday or Wednesday after the game.

Same thing with mine for the Limerick and Tipp hurling match in Thurles. GAA would want to get it sorted.

Have season tickets been updated for GAlway v Monaghan yet for anyone. Just logged on now and still says not attended. Maybe it is still too early?

Attendance updated, but for every other option I get this message
"We are improving and updating the GAA Season Ticket portal right now.
All your favourite functions will be available again soon"
Am I the only person seeing this or is it everybody else as well??? Would like to set up a seating group. Myself and my girlfriend were ticketed 40 rows apart (although we managed to sit together) on Saturday night because I couldn't add her to my group.
Been like that for the past month, the GAA seem very slow to amend it and whenever I email them regarding it I get sent the same message in reply.

Same here i wanted to set a seating group and use the bring a friend option to Croker but got that message.
I emailed them and all they could say was it would be resolved soon.
The season has started time to sort it out.

The same here I emailed them as i wanted to use the bring a friend option...to which I got the following reply

Unfortunately, the option to make a seating group is currently unavailable.

Our developers are currently working on this.

We hope to have this live as soon as possible.

However, it will not be available this week, I'm afraid.

I am sorry we could not assist you further.

The league will be over before they get it sorted..

Yeah same problem here. Looks like a right shambles. Between this and the scanning debacle at Croker last week plus issues in acknowledging attendance, the whole process seems to have fallen apart. All of this and season ticket prices increasing year on year. Hard questions will soon be asked of Tom Ryan and co if not resolved soon.

I am seeing a question for non-competing teams for the Monaghan V Dublin this weekend... but Monaghan are competing!! And I don't see the ticket that I am suppose to print off for this weekend..The website looks different but there is the same poor functionality on it. it's very amateurish.

Tickets are been sent to email address and not the season ticket site.

I got an email with my ticket in PDF Format with the options to save to a device or print off. So I just printed mine off. Check that it is not in your junk email

I didn't have the tickets in Junk mail, but I emailed the GAA and they then sent them to me by email.. How long would I have to have waited if I didn't email them!

I saw that, i noticed it for the first game to Vs Kerry, so Dublin and Monaghan supporters didnt have to pick the option of attending the game and got their tickets anyway, but non competing counties had the option of attending the match at Croke Park.

Basically, it looks like all non competing counties have the option of attending a game in Croke Park - essentially always a Dublin game. Thats a bit mad really isn't it.

I think you can attend any match with your season ticket actual card. Its just Croke Park allocates you to a seat and therefore you need to pick the option to attend and then get the ticket sent to you.

But If i wanted to go to Navan on Sunday I just need to present my card at the gate to get in as far as I know.

I wonder will 2020 season ticket holders get a discounted rate for 2021 as it looks like we won't be getting full value for our purchase. Obviously the GAA won't be able to decide on that until the new fixture list is finalised and it becomes clear what we missed out on.

But definitely there should be pro rata credit for next year based on the number of games cancelled e.g. nearly 30% of league games (not counting potential finals) look like they won't be played
