There seems to be a lot this year and nearly all of them are one of their counties' best players. That's very disappointing. Hopefully Daniel Flynn and Odhran Mac Niallas will be back this year.

Ciaran and diarmiuid murtagh for us.
The strong will continue to get stronger and anyone outside top 2 will be restocking and battling against odds year after year.

Tough slog for the lads. Can't imagine committing to their schedule.

Hopefully we will have Mark Bradley back. Be interesting to see if Ronan O'Neill ever returns to the fold.

Are the Murtagh's staying off the panel? Didn't hear that...…Was there an official announcement or is it just hearsay?

Massive loss if true.

McCurry, O Neill and Brennan. What is it with the Tyrone forwards coming and going?

Hopefully not. He has done absolutely zero for us since coming onto the panel.

We need to stop looking backwards hoping some forward of old will somehow find the county form that everyone envisioned for them.

Ciaran wasn't on panel last year he spent summer in Boston but was expected back this year. Obviously enjoyed it more than we hoped and plans on doing the same next year.
Diarmuid has had bad luck injury wise last few years and wants a time out from county for now. As on now that's what they have been telling people anyway hopefully Anthony Cunningham can change their minds but it's doubtful from what i have been hearing anyway.

I take your point. I think Lee Brennan has plenty to offer us and hasn't been given a fair chance.

Hearing 5 or 6 players from Louths squad have not or wont be returning.

Could you blame them?

They will now get 10 games with their clubs in April and May and then about 5 games (depending on how far they go in Champ) from July-Sept

GAA is great
