(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Well Galway are out- Out, finished this year. Wex and KK play in the Leinster final. Dubs score 3 goals in the match tonight. Well done them.

Some shock to the system but look Carlow put it up to them and scoring difference is what knocked them out in the end.
Wexford the only unbeaten team in the Leinster round robin 3 draws against the 3 other top teams let's say.
Hard one to digest if I was a Galway hurling fan.

You wouldn't get these kind of shocks in football

No harm they wouldnt win the All ireland anyway so best have the summer off they have enough hurling played the last few yers. Micheál Donoghue probably needs to walk though

Good point about the Carlow game, that did for Galway in the end

Dublin put the nail in the coffin. Galway dug the hole themselves.
Galway are one of those teams you could never put the farm on.

Listen, I want to celebrate this great team from Galway. A truely great team. They are all heroes even though they are out.

Huge shock. They have down what tipp done after 2016 and have failed to find the hunger or enough new players. Probably end of the road for Donoghue. In hindsight he stuck with the same team as 2017 and paid for it. No new talent unearthed
Fantastic for Dublin who deserve their place in the knock out stages.
Spotlight this season has been very much on Leinster. Cship starts now tho!

Dublin where very good, have been in most games this year just pipped in a lot of games. Galway a bit flat certainly not at the level of the Kilkenny game more like the wexford game. But delighted for Dublin tough on any team with season ending in june.

Dubs were great tonight. We needed a big win as we haven't had a big championship win in a few years.

Keaney rolling back the years, Trollier was electric - Galway just couldn't handle him, Boland and O'Rorke were great too. The forwards really stood up today having been poor in the 2 big games so far.

And Chris Crummy!!!

It's very hard luck on Galway but it is the Carlow game that cost them.

Nonsense. Carlow "put it up to them" in Salthill as did Wexford. They got a very lucky win against Kilkenny last week; but got found out today.

The emporer has no clothes.

I'd rather see Kilkenny out than Galway but it's good to see Dublin through. Fair play to them. It's a wide open All Ireland. It was a fierce contest and I rate both teams higher this evening than I did beforehand.

The best Leinster championship in years so far. Hope the final lives up to it! Hard on any of the 4 teams to go out on scoring difference suppose it had to happen to someone though. Fair play to Dublin they are definitely back in the big time. Hopefully we can dig out a win in Croke Park now....

Tell us what was nonsense about his post. It was spot-on. We've been poor this year, but to say last week's win was "very lucky" is the only nonsense I see. We outplayed KK last week and were the better team.
We certainly didn't deserve to go through based on tonight's performance. Fair play Dublin.

Agreed, Galway were lucky to hold out in the end last week but were the better team overall and if you had a decent free taker and/or Canning playing it would not have been near as close
