Rte picked the wrong championship to follow. Standard might not be as good but the intensity is up there

All finished on 5 points and Galway knocked out. As a neutral I'm devastated Wexford didn't make it a Dublin Wexford final. Can't bear the thought of Kilkenny winning another Leinster title.

Brilliant win for Dublin, That's both 2017 finalists Galway and Waterford out before the provincial finals.

The 4 top teams finished on 5 points, I thought Sky were going to get a mathematical expert to work out the permutations but ultimately a traditional Kilkenny v Wexford Leinster final, Dublin third and Galway out.

Dublin will obvs be delighted to have beaten Galway but disappointed it wasn't enough to reach a Leinster final, while Galway will be wondering how they got from being the first away team to win a championship match in Nowlan Park in 70 or whatever years, to being out of the championship in the space of a week.

I think tonight's Kilkenny v Wexford match summed up the Leinster championship; close, exciting but ultimately short in top quality. Limerick and Tipp a notch above on the evidence so far.

Congratulations to Dublin and thank you Galway for the wonderful enjoyment the last few years...I am so proud to be a Galway man no matter what... maroon and white forever.

The Leinster final is there for Wexford this year. They can and should win it hopefully.

Fair play to Dublin. They played very well and deservedly got the result.
It's a disappointing exit, but we haven't been clicking all year apart from a few patches in games. We need to freshen up the panel a bit, but we still have some excellent hurlers and will be back.

So far being the important words there! Whatever way the Munster cship turns out for us, it's kk we will want to avoid. It's huge for that young team to be back in a Leinster final and prob favs too.

Fair play Katser. Good to see how magnanimous you are in defeat. You can row in behind the boys in green now for the rest of the year. We need all the support we can get to put back to backs together.
As an aside O Donoghue has been found out. The guy hasn't put a stamp on the team. He doesn't have a squad and hes a poor decision maker. Mattie Kenny showed him up badly.

Kilkenny have to be the worst losers in the game. just because ye didn't lose for a decade doesn't mean ye are the kingpins of hurling.
Delighted we bet ye now..! ha

And Kilkenny have the Genghis Khan of bad losers in charge of them!

Kilkenny have taken this loss very badly. Hopefully we meet later on this year and the ref only blows when Kilkenny draw or go ahead.
