They are meeting them again. They were drawn against each other in the semis. I'd expect Crokes to win well, but I was making the point that they're beatable. As expected Gaoth Dobhair advanced to the final fairly comfortably in Donegal with Glenties joining them after a tight battle with Glenswilly. Armagh Senior semi final results Ballymacnab (1-9) v (0-9) Maghery Seán MacDiarmada Crossmaglen Rangers (0-19) v (1-11) St Pat's Cullyhanna 2 results I predicted wrong. Ballymacnab keep on winning and account for Maghery 2016 Armagh champions. Cross keep on improving and getting better after a bad start and beat favourites Cullyhanna. FInal verdict: Cross are gaining momentum and have played some outstanding football lately. This could spell danger for Ballymacnab. Cross to do enough. Omagh St Endas won it last year. I think the last team to do back to back was Carrickmore back in 2004 or 2005. Anyone from Errigal, Omagh, Dromore, Trillick, Coalisland, Clonoe, Killyclogher, Ardboe could win it. The only downside for Tyrone clubs is that it's difficult for any club to get some consecutive-year experience in the provincials or the AI; and you need that consecutive experience to win a provincial or AI. Coolderry claimed the Offaly SHC title for the first time since 2015 last Sunday when beating the holders Kilcormac/Killoughey - 2-17 to 0-17. Goals and the performances of Brian Carroll and captain Kevin Connolly were the winning of the game. The Offaly SFC final between Rhode and Ferbane is on Sunday. Rhode are going for 3 in a row while Ferbane are an up and coming team. They drew in the group stages so a close game is expected. I actually think Ferbane will beat the village. Can someone let me know what the story is with the Galway Senior Hurling Championship? Have a decent bet on St. Thomas to win it, are they in the semi finals or quarters? I know they topped their group with decent wins in the last few rounds. There seems to be a raft of Senior matches on this week up there, do Thomas have a bye?
