Your right Moorehead Tullamore failed at quarter final stage again this year but I work in Tullamore and for some reason they rave about Leahy. Players very worried he won't stay on now that he has taken the Mayo job. I doubt he could keep both going either as Mayo is a huge job even though he did both last year he wasn't the Mayo boss last year. It will be interesting to see same way it will be interesting to see does Jack Cooney double job Rhode and Kinnegad this year

Can't see Jack Cooney having a problem doing both, it's even better for him he can call training to suit himself plus he was only in kinnegad as trainer Billy Cole was with him

i posted early in this discussion of real possibility of pat flanagan returning to tyrrellspass . with emmett mcdonell surprisingly getting the athlone job the 2 big jobs left are mullingar shamrocks and the pass . shams will stay in house with either ned moore or ray smyth i think pat is due for a return to the village of tyrrellspass

If Tyrellspass don't get this appointment right I feel they could very well regress,as there are only so many county finals you can lose before damage sets in

Would Martin Flanagan not take the job on??

Pat Flanagan to Padraig Pearses ? Interesting. They won the senior hurling this year but football didn't go so well I believe. Shane Curran got them to a final a season or 2 previously I think. Obviously a strong dual club so won't be easy. Any word on Tom Coffey ? Unlikely he'll be heading back to Tyrellspass. Ned Moore the only name I have heard for Shamrocks but only speculation. John Donnellan Going Back to Castledaly, Ned Moore sure to take Shamrocks but he might also be the chairman at this stage after the agm. Garrycastle still not sorted i beleive the Gary Dolan thing not working out. Coffey surel will be wanted by a lot i would imagine. Has rosemount got anyone yet surely John Keane will take his own club at this stage. Tyrellspass wont get anyone easy as i believe both Glennons are gone David retired and Denis gone to shandonagh is the rumour. If that happens Shandonagh are a cert for intermediate in fact i would put moeny on them for Leinster never mind county championship Paulknows (Westmeath) - Posts: 114 - 27/11/2017 22:32:40 2063845 Link 0 |
Appartley John Keane in with Gary Dolan at Garycastle.

Interesting to hear John Donnellan going back to Castledaly if there's any truth to it he probably has a stronger panel of players than the set he had when he got them to the county final in 2015 with a few younger lads after stepping up, with Shamrocks,Gcastle,Cdaly and Rosemount it will be a dog fight for them two qualifying spots in group b. Think if Tpass get the right manager on board they are realistically the only team other than Lomans that could win it. McDonnell to Athlone is a huge appointment too. iarmhi919 (Westmeath) - Posts: 216 - 28/11/2017 13:46:27 2063894 Link 0 |
Glennon transferred to Shan? they'll have to plan even bigger celebrations next year so. double decker bus manfromdelmonte (UK) - Posts: 541 - 28/11/2017 21:54:36 2063939 Link 1 |
I was going to say they'll be booking the celebratory dinner now for The Park Hotel.

Dont think Dennis Glennon is that stupid to transfer to a bunch of chockers and leave a top senior club who are not far away from a senior title .

Dennis Glennon is one of the main reasons Tyrrellspass are a top senior team and the reason we have been in the last 4 almost every year for the last 15 years. I'm sure helping a team win an intermediate championship for the first time in their history is something he would consider important even after all he has achieved. He is living in Mullingar 10 years or so, I guess we are lucky he hasn't decided to go too 1 of the town teams. He almost single handily got us to the senior final this year. The only team that will not planning a celebration next year will be Tyrrellspass the lads went on a rampage for almost 2 weeks solid after losing the final. We are lucky we can't get relegated next year because we are seeded.
