I can't believe no one has said Brian Whelahan from Offaly for hurling. Without doubt he is the best hurler I've seen play the game. I'm lucky to have seen him play several times in person. For football I have to pick Martin Flanagan from Westmeath. Unlucky not to pick up a Leinster in 2004. Ok from looking through the posts, the general consensus for hurling is DJ Carey. There is a wider number of picks for football and there doesn't seem to be a clear winner between Cooper, Cavanagh and Canavan. Didn't expect to be hearing names I've never heard of before. Anyone who knows who sack walsh is, answers on a postcard. The Galway and Wexford posters seem to be more tribal with their picks! Maybe the adrenaline is still pumping from last Sunday!
