Had my backpack searched on the way into the Athletic Grounds on Saturday, took literally 5 seconds by very pleasant (and apologetic) security guard, think obo Armagh CB. No problem with this, same logic could have been used in croker rather than a ban

Only problem is when it comes to All Ireland semi final or final and security have 82k fans streaming in on top of them and 40k of them are coming in at 3pm for a 3.30pm start can security have the time to search even 20k worth of bags without the game being delayed

Makes it harder man, for sure, but to go back to my original post on this thread exact same thing at Wembley just over a week ago with 90000 Stone Roses fans and it can be done. End of the day it's no more of a hardship than searching a lads pockets is it really?

I see this rule must not be enforced outside croker as in thurles on Sunday an incident occured in the town end terrace involving flares which left a man badly burned on his back and spent most of the match being treated by medical staff.

flares are OK because they don't sell them inside the ground.

They should check patrons exiting the ground also - that way they might find Cork's missing balls.

Does anyone know the policy on bringing in fold-up buggies? Obviously with a toddler to go with the buggy.
