Left Footers

I'm around long enough to vaguely remember Paddy Doherty of Down, one of the sweetest lefties I've seen.

What about players who were equally comfortable off either foot ?
I watched a Wexford player kick 12 points in a championship match , 6 points off each foot from frees and open play.

Why do all left footed players have a "cultured left foot"? Does it mean their right foot and all right footed players have never been outside their own parish to see a bit of Europe?

If I'm not mistaken both Roscommon's 2 midfielders and 5 of the starting forwards are left footers.

It backfired I think and not long into the game Ja Fallon replaced one of the ciotógs!"
Ja Fallon was a left footer. Check out his points in the 2nd half of the '98 Final v Kildare.

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Brendan Devenney made an interesting comment recently when he said that good left footed players have a sweeter strike of a ball than normal. He was referring to Ciaran Thompson who has landed a fair few beauties from range in this year's league. Certainly in Donegal we have a history of great left footed players playing for the county. Colm McFadden, Paddy McBrearty, Adrian Sweeney, Declan Bonner etc.

Outside Donegal, I think Paul Finlay had a wand of a left peg. Padraic Joyce and Ciaran McDonald as well.

Who would be your favourite left footers?"
Peter Canavan and Stephen McDonnell. Simon Behan of Dublin from earlier era.

Ok maybe it was not him so, but a right footer did come on fairly soon into the game
