Sunday’s Ulster SFC final in Clones is heading for a sell-out after Ulster Council confirmed that no more tickets will be put on general sale.
All remaining tickets for the Derry v Armagh clash will be distributed among the two counties, clubs and season ticket holders, meaning that many fans who had hoped more tickets would be made available will be unable to attend.
Some supporters who aren’t members of clubs or live outside their home county have taken to social media to vent their frustration at not being able to get tickets, while others have questioned why Croke Park wasn’t considered to host the game given that the capacity of St Tiernach’s Park is just 29,000.
TweetDue to unprecedented demand for this Sunday’s Ulster Senior Football Championship Final between @Armagh_GAA & @Doiregaa, there will be no tickets released on general sale.
