Derry goalkeeper Odhran Lynch ensured the Ulster champions went in with a seven-point against Monaghan at Healy Park this afternoon.

Having saw their early four-point lead cut down to one thanks to Karl O’Connell’s goal, the Oak Leafers hit back with a goal of their own through Conor McCluskey and increased their advantage via Shane McGuigan (free) and Conor Doherty.

This points from Lynch wrapped up the first-half scoring in Omagh as Rory Gallagher men took in a 1-12 to 1-5 lead:
