No Galway job available to take.

This years Minor captain Eoin Gannon from Breathnachs named to start for Connaught u18s in rugby today v Ulster....let's hope we don't lose him to rugby like the lad from Spideal. He was the standout player at u17 this season and has the potential to progress quickly to Adult football.

The stand out duel minor of the last 3 years Walsh already a senior player for Connacht rugby , a bigger loss physically and ability wise of all.

Yes, forgot about him. Speaking of which just listening to the Glenamaddy game v An Spideal and Farthing sounds like he had a super game, probably not what we are lacking in Galway at the minute, we have good full back and corner back options but again he might be worth looking at.

And if we do the best of luck to him
He has played rugby from a young age as well and can make a career from it unlike GAA.Amd like Tomas Farthing if it doesn't work out he can always come back.

Belclare, are pulling our legs! He is a corner forward. You've some keepers there, Power, Healy, Odhran Burke and now Canney ahead of them.

Poor enough fare in the Tuam double header yesterday. Moycullen against Monivea was men against boys. Fiachra McDonagh, Niall Walsh, Ger Davoren and Sean O'Connor very good for Moycullen. Their only weak spot is the full back line. They got caught for pace back there a couple of times and conceded 0-19 against a side that wouldn't possess a quarter of the attacking potential of a Corofin or Salthill. Sean Kelly played at centre back (scored a great goal) but I reckon he will have to go back to full back when it comes to a semi final or final.

Second game was a fairly poor standard. A lot of the Mountbellew lads who have been out for a while looked very rusty. Their goalkeeper was probably at fault for at least 1-4 and then he kicked two two-point frees a mile wide. Claregalway were decent in patches but won't trouble any of the big guns. Crowd was very small - I'd say there couldn't have been more than 50 in the terrace and there weren't too many more in the stand.
