Whos going to win Junior and intermediate this year. Drumhowan and Killanny already up and not going well. Whos the favorites for the championships?

Drumhowan seem all over the place and Killanny lost against Aughnamullen without Bannigan

This narrative needs to stop, and quickly.

Magheracloone can welcome Clubber in no problem because they aren't short of cash, lots of money flowing there from Gypsum after the disaster a few years ago.

Every other club in Monaghan has been hit with a county board "maintenance fee" of 3-6k each depending on grade. That's why clubs aren't so forthcoming in clubber access to their grounds… because they want to get more people in the gate to pay the fee

A lot of clubs going against it as it will take away from their gate. The majority of which is going to the county board anyway after they have imposed a fee on clubs with the excuse they are losing money from Home/Away championship structure"
And of course that was not the excuse for the County Board taking the money of the clubs this year.

Replying To MonaghanMan44life:  "Disagree. The stream should cater for the majority not the minority. Facts are senior games are of a better standard, people like to watch the game played at the best level etc. there's a reason the senior games in the county draw the bigger crowds.
So, why not utilise the streaming to accommodate the same?"
The fact is the majority if clubs in Monaghan are Junior/Intermediate. End of.

Scostown vs Latton was very good game at weekend. Thought Jack McCarron had a quiet game. Think Jack Lennon was marking him and done very well. Jack vs Jack

Went out to their game yesterday against Kileevan. Killeevan will be kicking themselves should of scored about 6 goals or more left so much behind them. Drumhowan seem to be just all out attack and try beat you on the scoreboard. They will be caught yet after yesterday i fancy Oram or Currin to win the championship.

Also what is going on in Toome got rid of their manager midway through the championship. Wheels seem to have come off the bus altogether. If Drumhowan get to a championship final Toome go up aswell after getting to the league final.

again shows the flaw in the system. Toome could be intermediate next year having not won a championship game

Apologies. You are correct. You were way ahead of me there. Drumhowan will be in the championship final. So win or lose m, Toome are promoted. Like the whole new structure it is mad.

Who's the top forwards in the championship so far?
1. Steven Mooney
2. James Maguire
3. Max McGinnity

Mooney hitting 9 points from play this weekend on Dylan Bryne surely makes him no 1 so far

What narrative it's true what's the point coming out and saying that the start of championship that there is access to all these games and Magheracloone have been shown 3 weeks in a row. It's utter nonsense

Looking like Scotstown will go 6/7 for championships this year for last 7 championships.

Are there any teams producing top-talent youth at a level which could compete with the town in near future?,

Apart from the mighty Latton of course

Yes Jack definitely got the better Jack. I would still rate Jack above Jack any other day of the week. Fair play to Jack but Jack also deserves some credit

Mooney hit 1 point from play against truagh, Ronan Boyle keeping him very quiet. Can't see how 1 game against maghercloone makes him the best

Luke Hughie McKenna from truagh ??? Hes playing some tasty stuff. One for the future for Monaghan. Heard he was giving Ronan Boyle a tough time at training and Ronans one county best defenders keeping Stephen Mooney to 1 point.

That's 2 years in a row they have axed a manager? Drumhowan should win it handy, they have a lot more quality all over the pitch than any of the others.
