Replying To yew_tree:  "Only the league. At this stage Mayo are judged on winning championships which we have failed so far. Interesting year ahead. I think Sam is up for grabs and a few counties will be in the mix."
I am afeared for Mayo.

I think that Kerry will bayte us by 10-14 points...that would be another humiliation.

Kerry are scared of Dublin but not Mayo.

Its a great way to be going into a final, no one thinks they will win it, it should give them freedom to go out and prove everyone wrong. They have a chance, they need to play out of the skin and if they go for it and be positive they will create there own luck which has been missing for Mayo teams in finals.
The forwards should be able to cause Kerry problems, its Kerry weakest line the full back line.
But also its probably Mayos weakest line also.
Mayo will struggle with the pace and power of Kerry and if White turns up like he did in last years final he will be unstoppable.
Tuohy, Coen will be targeted as they lack pace, Flynn and Carney are both forwards so not great defensively.
Conroy, Ruane and Durcan have pace, one of them might start but you would also prefer to see them coming on and improving the team. McHale should come on and might be a day we see O Shea come on just to compete for kickouts.

Replying To Seniorleague:  "Kerry spent the entirety of the 2000s being beaten by teams who employed the dark arts and no one had a problem with that, funnily enough.

Perhaps they decided if you cant beat em join em?"
Kerry were practicing the dark arts well before then, did a number on Jimmy Murray in the 1946 final and on Gerry O Malley in 62, long before Tyrone and Armagh can be blamed for anything.

Up Mayo! The west needs it.
