Before considering expanding CP a bigger priority should be to fix the cause of scoreboard problems.

We all know what happened in last year's AI hurling semi and how it had a material bearing on the outcome with the losing team not realising they were one point closer than the scoreboard indicated.

Well, last week similar happened but without having any impact I stress. I haven't seen it reported anywhere or any comment on it but for 5 minutes midway through the second half the scoreboard was wrong with Carlow's points tally being one short. A Carlow point was not recorded. It was rectified but not for 5 minutes during which time I was checking on Twitter to see if if I and others around me were mistaken but no multiple Twitter sources had the score correctly recorded but the scoreboard didn't, until rectified … but it took 5 minutes!

As I say it made no difference but it is clear that the cause of last year's complete cock up has not been resolved … so it'll happen again for sure. Que more controversy if/when it really matters.

I'm delighted for her. I don't agree with Croke park being available to the highest bidder but Katie Taylor deserves this.

The reality of the suitation is that Croke Park needs to be utilised. The organisation would be in deficit were it not rented out, would have to cut its cloth and who wants that?

Didn't think she could do it but delighted for her. Some tickets still available so not officially a sell out but close enough. I have my tickets and will look forward to seeing Croke Park showcased to the world and Katie getting the recognition she deserves.

Or Croke Park could better steward the terrace. There is suggestions that people may have entered for free which is certainly not helpful either. Rugby doesn't seem to have this problem (granted the terracing at Rugby grounds is smaller but how in ever) so perhaps we need a period of self reflection to understand why is the GAA getting this so badly wrong.

Even on Saturday as I was in the hill the stewards closed off the main steps yet people coming in were directed further down still made their way up to the top by getting through spectators much to the annoyance, also they lost control of the flares a couple went off around me and their was plenty of people coming on with alcohol, I also heard their was a couple of scuffles outside, the GAA need to scrub up on big match days in particular otherwise it could be a disaster.

It was down to stewarding. Not proper stewards from clubs but paid security who were clearly not up to task.

I was in Limerick for big games and yerrace stewards were excellent. Even nipped some potential flash points with drunken but otherwise harmless young fellas in bud with help of good Gardaí.

There is persistent pattern of gangs occuppying upper right part of Hill and throwing bottles and debris onto people below them. Could easily be solved.

That is a regular occurrence now Barney from non Dublin fans. Bottles and flares raining down on us from top centre right area.

As for the so called over crowding….
A lot of it is down to stewarding.
Far too many teenage stewards and a lot of them girls, who are suddenly confronted by a rush of hundreds of fans coming in. I feel for them tbh.
Trying to check if beer is being brought in, trying to direct them to areas where there is space, when the fans want to meet up with their pals on different areas of the Hill. There is also a part of the Hill close to the Cusack which fans are rarely allowed into.

There is another reason why fans don't want to be directed down to the lower terracing and no one has referenced it yet…..
that damn plastic 20 foot barrier.
You can't see the game properly from behind it. Glare in the sunshine, reflection, flowing water on it during rainy days, and generally a blurred view from the dirt on it.
It is a nightmare trying to watch a game from behind it.
You can't blame fans for wanting to move higher up the terracing to avoid being behind it.
