A 4 point (2 score)victory over a Dublin team who were wasteful in front of goal, and both of kerrys goals being pretty fortutitous.
Hardly living up to the hot favourites tag."
And Dublin very possibly denied a goal too.

I very much doubt Mayo give two hoots about the anniversary of the last Connacht success. The only anniversary Mayo might be thinking about is the 75 years since they last won Sam.

Well done London. Their first All-Ireland junior football championship title since 1986.

Kerry were hot favourites today. They may not have lived up to this during the match, but they still were according to the bookies right before the game.

They will be before the final also against Mayo. Not sure that this sort of thing effects the kerry players as they have been around now for a while both as underdog and as favourite.

On a side note,Clifford was very quiet today but STILL left the pitch with 1-6 to his name. The man is unreal.

Prediction for final

Kerry 2-30
Mayo 0-17

I hope tickets are €50

But crazy to charge 100 for one sided game.

If Kerry had lost the game today it wouldnt take away from the fact they were hot favourites going into the game.

I thought that dublin rode their luck with refereeing decisions in the quarter final but what happened today was off the charts in terms of being on the wrong side of bad calls. Human error mistakes will happen in every game but mostly they average out or worst case lead to a 2 or 3 point scoring differential. Today there was a clear 9 point swing. 2 of the goal swings were undebatable. You could potentially debate the penalty but in my opinion 95 times out of 100 that would not have been given as a penalty. Must be very frustrating for Dublin. In Galway we were frustrated with decisions in the QF v Dublin but to be fair they were much more marginal than today and in any case Dublin deserved the win that day. But today there was no marginality about the decisions and they cost Dublin, who were the better team and deserved to win. Unfortunately i have a feeling that Kerry underperformed in both the QF and SF and still won and i fear they will save their best performance for the final ( like last year) . Im still hoping that Mayo can dig something out but its a massive challenge for them

Why not possibly? There's no proof anywhere ball fully crossed line

100% - spot on.

Wanted to wait until I got home and watched the game again, and then the highlights…

The 3 big decisions in the game today and the ref and umpires got all 3 so wrong. Terrible.

When you get friends from outside Dublin, who would want anyone but Dublin to win, All text you to say the Dubs were robbed in the game today - well that says a lot.

Jack said after the game that they got lucky today.
More than lucky with those decisions….

And then you have the pundits on tv today - players from Galway, Mayo, Tyrone, Derry, Armagh, Dublin all say the key decisions were incorrect, and you have TOS not disagree with that view, well it shows that the calls were incorrect.
Shocking in fact.

Hopefully the calls that didn't go our way today, well, Mayo get to benefit of any such calls in the Final.

They will need it…!

To have all 3 big decisions be incorrect is not acceptable Barney.

Hopefully their luck, as Jack called it, runs out in the Final.
Will Mayo finally break their hoodoo - very unlikely tbh, but we all live in hope…. ;o)
lol

A quick word on Kobe - what a talent he is.
Unbelievable potential.
And only 18. Wow.
Superb.

He's the best forward I've ever seen, but he was blocked, dispossessed and beaten to the ball more often today than I've ever seen before. Kicked a few poor efforts too.
The goal was handed to him in fairness. A very poor penalty. It was so central that Comerford actually dived too far and as a result the rebound came straight back to him. If it was a bit closer to the post the save would have pushed the ball out to the side. There's no doubt he had a lot of good fortune today. Even a score in the second half, he was dispossessed brilliantly, the Dublin defender was fouled coming out didn't get the free and he gets the ball back for a tap over.

Relieved to get through to the final. Kerry are stuttering along. A hangover from a competitive club championship structure in the split season.
Anyone playing Dublin in Croke Park has got to be able to play the occasion. Tyrone did that more impressively in the 2025 quarter final. It has to be said. Tyrone are the north star for others to follow.

Ye Dublin defender barged in the back coming out, that was very harsh on Dublin and the square ball was obviously a joke. The penalty though I thought was a penalty and the ball cleared off the line I'm yet to see an angle that conclusively shows the ball was fully over the line.
