I once saw Mick O'Connell jump 20 feet into the air, catch the ball, kick a mighty point from 113 yards out, and then catch the kick out before he landed back on the ground. Everyone there said that it was the best day of their lives, especially supporters from the other county who carried him on their shoulders back to the Kingdom and swam beside his boat back to Valentia, many of them drowning for their troubles or eaten by dolphins. You have predicted Dublin losses 3 consecutive times now and they won each time. I suppose a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Huge pressure on Kerry now though, a total embarassment if they don't win an All Ireland from here. Realistically there 6-10pts better than Dublin and 12-16pts better than Mayo or Louth.

Dublin boss GB is having a laugh talking up the pressure on their opponent. GB got the Dublin gig off the back of an impressive Leinster championship with Louth. Plenty of experience in the Dublin ranks. Ominously building up momentum in their current home league ground as well. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9940 - 07/07/2026 22:45:19 2684768 Link 1 |

He has a different media approach to his predecessors. All part of the crack. Game won't be won in an interview. Dublin v Kerry always a great day no matter what the result and very much looking forward to it. You will be most welcome to our "home ground" legend. Will Kerry folk know how to get there?? I agree. I think there is massive pressure on Jack to win 2 in a row, from where they are now. If they were given this scenario weeks ago, they would have taken it in a heartbeat. Armagh, Tyrone, Donegal and Galway all knocked out. 100% - if Kerry don't win it now then it will be seen as a massive underachievement. The yerra's will disagree on here, but deep down they know it will be unacceptable from where they find themselves now. Probably unacceptable for them any year tbh, but that is a different conversation… lol. ;o) Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 5161 - 08/07/2026 10:00:30 2684789 Link 0 |
