Replying To brayballer:  "Great to be back in a semi again against the Kingdom. The Nell or Nowhere lol.The Yerras are favourites but we can deffo beat them.We have nearly all our players back now and its a free shot.Croke park with a full hill is worth a few points so we have no reason to fear.I know from a good pal that Kerry still very wary of the Dubs."
Interesting interviews by Ger and EF:-

We are in bonus territory, definitely.
3 games in 3 weeks inc an Extra Time.
At least Ger has 2 weeks to prepare the lads now...

We will be massive underdogs, as will be the winners of Mayo or Louth. It is the Munster men's to lose.
When you hear Tomas O'Se admit it, then that says a lot about how much of a favourite they are…!

Don't forget we are missing our starting full back, who is out for the season with a bad Achilles injury.
Also, Murch is still out.
And McGinnis is out with his Cruciate.
Not to mention Lahiff and Bugler who haven't been playing much at all.
Fingers crossed McMahon will be ok in 2 weeks.

Hopefully a big turnout by the Dubs supporters.
The team deserves that.

If getting Louth the Delaney wasn't enough but now getting Dublin to the All-Ireland Semi-Finals with all the setbacks from it like relegation to Div 2, his suspension, losing off the Leinster final and injury problems.

It's proven Ger Brennan is top coach in my book.

He is ahead of target imo by getting us to an AI semi final.
Positive greens shoots of progress to build on for next year and beyond.

We definitely missed Ger in the earlier rounds of the Championship. Hopefully we put in a good account of ourselves in 2 weeks. An unenviable task but at least Ger will have time to get the lads prepared for the challenge ahead…

Interesting story in the Independent - Ger Gilroy is to assist the Kilkenny County Board in their selection process for their next Senior Hurling manager.
He has been enlisted as part of their selection committee to find their next hurling manager.

The bookies have us at -3 points which I'd say it pretty accurate. I said before the Donegal game that I wouldn't have been surprised to go very very close and perhaps nick it but alternatively wouldn't have been overly shocked to lost by 6 or 7pts. I think its pretty much the same now for Kerry. If we continue our current form and tidy up a bit of the sloppiness and hope Kerry are not hitting top gear then we have a great chance. I think we are the draw Kerry just did not want considering their scare v Tyrone but that should bring them on a bit of anything.

I will be heading in quietly confident and think it will be a very close encounter.

We need to talk about David . Anybody any ideas? MacMahon would have been the natural choice to deal with him but I doubt he'll have recovered. Looked very bad coming off in the Galway game.

Davy Byrne or Theo.

I think it will be Davy.

Yes, Sean didn't look good coming off the pitch v Galway.

Limiting supply is the key. Easier said than done but 'high press,' similar midfield dominance as last day, and stopping the backs having the space to come forward or time to pick the isolated inside men out.

First world problems!

Hill tickets online sold out in 10mins, earlier this afternoon.
Nally sold out 5mins later.

Looking like both semi finals will be sell outs.

I think this game will be a good test for Ger and his backroom team. They need to come up with a plan to stop this juggernaut from down south. Hopefully the 2 weeks prep will help them.

Hoping we can make a game of it and keep it close.
We are in bonus territory now and there is no pressure on us imo.

I seen where Philly says if Scully plays well we beat Kerry. I dont think its as easy as that but I do think we can win.We will need bigs games from POCB Con Collie Kilkenny and Gannon too.We cant stop the younger Clifford completely but if we stop the older Clifford we well on the way.The closer it gets the more confident I am.This could be a classic like 1977 and 2013.

This game will be won if the Dubs defence are at their absolute best, it will take a season defining performance from the lads at the back.
Also, in the age of the 2pter, Kerry are ahead of us. If we can at least try and break even or be short of them by 1 or 2, there's a chance.
Kerry are just a more polished product. Ger has had 3 championship games as Dubs manager. It really will be a a surprise result if Dublin beat Kerry given the current standings of both teams. Even bigger than 2011.

The game will be won around the middle and use of possession. Defences can only do so much in the modern game. If Dublin can get their hands on enough ball, the key will then be scoring efficiency at the other end.
You cleaned us on our kickouts last Sunday, but were still 6 points behind with 10 minutes left. You'll need to be far more clinical.
Kerry are going to be very efficient with whatever possession they have. If Kerry win enough ball, it'll be very hard to beat them.

Clubs won't get theirs until tomorrow. Much smaller than 2023 i think.

Ticketmaster appear to have control of large bulk now.

The Dublin kick outs will go a long way to deciding how close we get to them.
At the start of the 2nd half v Galway, we were all over the place.
Players are making runs and getting into space but they are not being spotted.
Thankfully it improved in the final quarter but don't forget, for the majority of it we had an extra man.

I think the massive positive is that we are all on here in the lead up to a semi final debating if we can beat the champions elect to a lot of people earlier in the year.

The mood around the whole thing has been given such a massive lift after taking out Donegal and Galway and although we played very well for large periods of those games we can't afford to switch off for 15 mins against Kerry. We saw what they did to Armagh last year for a start when Armagh fell asleep. Thinking back to the 2023 final and how well we did I hope we can channel similar energy and resolve this Sunday. I think people also forget Clifford had a bit of an off day by his standards in front of the posts that day and he will be gunning to put that right this weekend.

Massive day for some of our younger fellas who have acquitted themselves very well the last two weeks but this will be a step up again. It will be good for them to have the full Dublin support behind them and to feel what it is to take on our old foe in front of a full house. That sort of experience is invaluable.

If our main men click and we can tag on a few 2 pointers like last week I think we can go very close.

Heard from a mate of mine that Hill tickets are being sold by touts for over €100 each.

The bandwagon, and its crew, is back on the road for one more game it seems…!
;o)

Wonder what the split of fans on the day will be..?
Will we be outnumbered again this year.?
By the sounds of it, no, not for this game.
