Replying To legendzxix:  "It was same story going to PuC for the semi final last year. The game itself went to extra time. Saturday evening's game will take on a life of its own. I was consistent all winter warning about Tyrone. Out of Armagh, Tyrone and Donegal - Tyrone provided a tougher challenge last year."

Replying To WanPintWin:  "It'll be a tough outing this weekend and I can't see much in it either way. Decision making in the last 10 will be crucial. We're not in the habit of beating Dublin in championship football and I think this one will go the wire. Dublin got a lot of joy last year from POCB on D'Arcy and they mopped up a lot of breaks. Ciarán Kilkenny was given the freedom of Pearse Stadium last year. We can't let him dictate like he did.
D'Arcy was exceptional against Westmeath, but he'll be up against a very different challenge on Sunday. We need to make sure we have plenty options for Gleeson.
If we can dominate around the middle, I think our forwards will take advantage. As we've seen all year though, momentum can swing massively in games. Even if we're a good few scores ahead, it's very unlikely the game will peter out comfortably.

At the end of the week where we lost a true legend of Maigh Cuilinn and Galway football, but more importantly a very good man, it would be a nice tribute in some way to Paul Clancy if we can get the job done. Sincere condolences to his family and all who were close to him.

Replying To WanPintWin:  "There's a big difference between a Munster semi-final and a knockout All-Ireland match in Croke Park. Kerry were tipping along last year, but once they got to the business end, they laid waste to Ulster's finest. We saw similar last weekend when it was do or die against Armagh.
Tyrone, mainly through Kilpatrick who was outstanding, put up a decent fight last year, but they were physically overwhelmed all over the pitch. Kerry turned over a lot of ball and their forwards were able to find a lot of space. The game was over with a lot of time still left."

Replying To legendzxix:  "All 50-50 games. Baffled by those dismissing Tyrone. 3 of the 4 favourites going into last year's quarter finals fell at that hurdle.
If Dublin get through this weekend, they'll be hard to stop once they get on the momentum train of home league ground advantage at the business stage of the championship.
Galway are the away team on Sunday and will have to give extra consideration for that. Galway will be confident that if they get through this weekend that they have the game plan and players to go all the way.
Louth's results bar the blip in the Leinster semi final have been impressive. It would have me leaning towards them to get through this weekend.
Of the other 3 quarters, my attempt at predictions are: Mayo, Louth and Galway."
