How many draws? How many lost to Limerick? How many lost to KK? How many other losses?

How many draws? How many lost to Limerick? How many lost to KK? How many other losses? The win was a covid one v Wexford?

What a load of nonsense. Who are the undeserving players from Clarinbridge? People complain when TJ Brennan is nowhere to be seen, I suppose they forgot the Clarinbridge bias with that decision A load of bluster without naming the specific players you don't think should be getting any game time, of which there are 3 realistically Kinvara (Galway) - Posts: 216 - 03/06/2026 15:30:36 2677651 Link 1 |

Oh wow what's that......there was me thinking 100% you would travel to support Galway but back Dublin in the bookies!!

Dublin have two hopes of winning......Bob Hope and No hope. It's a great Leinster Final for Galway.....my only concern is that no Galway player gets injured by Dublin because We will need everyone fit for the All Ireland Semi Final that's the big game for us. katser (Galway) - Posts: 2855 - 03/06/2026 15:37:08 2677660 Link 0 |

On the other hand, it's hardly a Croke Park issue that Owens reffed the 2018 Clare draw, or a Thurles one, that Clare missed a sitter goal off a post, and fired a number of very late long range wides, to let us off the hook with a 1pt scrape win.

Good man. Be no chance of your boys getting injured if they stand off tackles the way they did in Salthill :-)

Most of those games were very close though. Nearly all of them.

8 of those losses to Limerick 4 and KK 4. Respectable opposition, to put it mildly in Limerick's case. The remaining 5 outings composed of 3 draws, 1 win over Wexford, and the covid loss to Dublin in 2021 in Shane O'Neills second season.

I wasn't. It was a response to a post last week claiming Loughrea were basically being discriminated against or something, I cba to check. None of the Loughrea players were particularly good last Sunday but they weren't lacking for company on that front either Stool Pigeon (Galway) - Posts: 1020 - 03/06/2026 17:40:53 2677721 Link 0 |

Agreed, you'd think we'd have the final with the way how Kilkenny played going by the thread.

Game on Saturday could go either way. Not sure what to expect. Forecast looks terrible. Walsh Cup weather. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 4379 - 04/06/2026 10:52:29 2677797 Link 0 |

It will only go one way and I know what to expect......a comfortable Galway win. The only thing that will beat Galway is themselves. I would ideally like to see Galway play more fast direct hurling rather than this tipy tapy through the lines tactics. katser (Galway) - Posts: 2855 - 04/06/2026 11:09:44 2677802 Link 0 |

I'm just thinking of the bigger picture..... Galway v Cork and Clare v Limerick All Ireland Semi Finals. Two absolute Croke Park sell outs and two humdingers of games! katser (Galway) - Posts: 2855 - 04/06/2026 13:31:29 2677865 Link 0 |

If only we could all live in optimistic bliss like Kaiser. He seems to have the ability to wipe all previous failings from his mind instantly. The Jim Gavin mantra of forgetting the last mistake and focusing on the next ball. It'd be a nice trait to have as a Galway supporter. Barney, console yourself with the thought that Galway are very good at beating themselves ;-)
