Replying To conordee:  "We have played 13 times in Croke Park since the 2017 win. We have won just one of those matches. So our form there is not good and we will need to improve a lot on our last 4 round robin games. Dublin have beaten us and Kilkenny during that time. Saturday really is a massive test and I'm not confident."
How many draws? How many lost to Limerick? How many lost to KK? How many other losses?

What a load of nonsense. Who are the undeserving players from Clarinbridge? People complain when TJ Brennan is nowhere to be seen, I suppose they forgot the Clarinbridge bias with that decision

A load of bluster without naming the specific players you don't think should be getting any game time, of which there are 3 realistically

Replying To PoolSturgeon:  "Well I'll be attending too but in a different frame of mind, with a strong hope of us winning. Granted if we play like we did in the first half against Kildare and Wexford we have no chance, but Im confident that wont happen again. I cannot agree with you about our full forward line. Whelan , Rabbitte, Aaron Niland. On paper it's the strongest line we have. Cannot agree either regarding physicality...we are every bit as strong as them and that wont be the winning or losing of it imo. Galway by 3 points."
Oh wow what's that......there was me thinking 100% you would travel to support Galway but back Dublin in the bookies!!

You never took me up on the offer of a bottle of stout out of my winnings in Gills."
Dublin have two hopes of winning......Bob Hope and No hope.
It's a great Leinster Final for Galway.....my only concern is that no Galway player gets injured by Dublin because We will need everyone fit for the All Ireland Semi Final that's the big game for us.

Replying To Overdahill:  "My main concern for this weekend, becasue it is a long term one, is that since 2017, we have tended to play worse when we got to croke park. 2018 we bet Clare and KK outside of Croke Park after drawing, then never showed up in the final. Fell flat in the 2020 2022 and 2025 leinster finals. 2023 AI semi final bet out the gate. 23 against Dublin we were brutal as well. Only decent performances in croker since 2017 are probably 2023 leinster final and 2022 All ireland semi final?

Maybe the 2020 semi final but not really counting Covid times as it wasn't a proper croker atmosphere.

We might be guilty in Galway sometimes of thinking croke Park might bring more out of some of our lads but it hasn't been true in a long time"
On the other hand, it's hardly a Croke Park issue that Owens reffed the 2018 Clare draw, or a Thurles one, that Clare missed a sitter goal off a post, and fired a number of very late long range wides, to let us off the hook with a 1pt scrape win.

Good man. Be no chance of your boys getting injured if they stand off tackles the way they did in Salthill :-)

Most of those games were very close though. Nearly all of them.

8 of those losses to Limerick 4 and KK 4. Respectable opposition, to put it mildly in Limerick's case. The remaining 5 outings composed of 3 draws, 1 win over Wexford, and the covid loss to Dublin in 2021 in Shane O'Neills second season.
