Strange all the provincial champions are away in 1st draw since their completion.
WH, Rosie's, Armagh and Kerry.
Some reward for winning it.
Surely there should be some reward for winning it - home advantage in this round.
Bet ye more big counties will take the Donegal route/ attitude next year.

Curiosity on my behalf here...When did Westmeath beat Galway in championship I know it was recent enough. Also McHugh was 100% correct in his assessment of the draws leaving Cavan 4 weeks to prepare for Westmeath but how did Cavan know it was Westmeath they were playing or was it going to be the Leinster champions i.e. Westmeath or Dublin??

In 2006 we beat them in Salthill to qualify for an All Ireland Quarter Final. We actually beat Sligo in a cracker of a game up in Markievicz Park in the round before that after extra time. Maybe it's written in the star for us 20 years later.

The draw was made for it to be Westmeath v Cavan not the Leinster champions v Cavan
