Replying To legendzxix:  "'24 was Armagh's year. Kerry responded last year. Donegal are responding this year. Kerry accepted the clear red card on Saturday. Donegal did not after the league final. A bit of heckling is par for the course after the dirty stroke in the league final. Some of the Donegal reaction to that is laughable. I thought Donegal were a sporting county like Kerry. It might be just a minority or outliers in Donegal being bad winners. Sin é."
What kind of red card, did Donegal not accept after league final?? Never heard such deflective waffle. Kerry were so hyped up to stop Donegal, they shot themselves in the foot. If they're aim was better they might have troubled the scoreboard more rather than putting a hole in said foot.

Paidí called it right."
Yes, reigning champions deserve better.

Replying To Commodore:  "Aside from all of the white noise after the HT controversy, It was a very tight game until half time and if Kerry hadn't got a man sent off at HT, playing with the wind in the 2nd half, it likely would have been a much tighter game. I still think Kerry are the strongest team in the Country when at full strength, they have a lot of top notch players still out.

Tony Brosnan is a class act, he racked up a huge score in Ballyshannon during the regular league game early in the year, I was surprised we didn't pay more attention to him when he came on in the 2nd half. The boy can kick from serious distance with serious power. Jack O'Connor is a classy manager, huge respect for the man and what he has repeatedly achieved. Getting men back and match fit will be vital for Kerry if they hope to retain the title.

Armagh are the team that currently stands out, their intensity is something else, and Tyrone are a dangerous animal, didn't see them beating that Roscommon side."
Armagh might regret coming from prelim round in Ulster. Donegal played 11 games last year, and stayed relatively injury free, until 2 players in final. Can Armagh go one better? Hard to beat that level every day.

Replying To legendzxix:  "Results went against 2 provincial winners at the weekend while 2 provincial runners-up responded. At least 2 provincial winners could be paired in Round 2B. Whether provincial winners should be at least kept apart before the quarter finals might be worth some consideration. It would mean 4 provincial winners potentially getting through to Croke Park unless knocked out by a league qualifier.
Provincial winners knocking each other out before Croke Park is a bit OTT in the current format. Not against separating provincials from the All Ireland but that's a different kettle of fish of that leap is taken."
How are the Munster teams doing in the tailteann cup? Remember these are your opponents every year, you gain your nice home draw. Now you want some more little advantages, for your gerrymandered provincial 2 horse race??

Paddy Andrew's on the GAA football POD called it right. Anyone crossing the line to join into a scuffle on the pitch should be red carded. Leave the scuffle to the 30 on the pitch and ref deals with it. This should be brought in now.

You've clearly never been to Killarney and tried to drive out of there after a match.

All the bellyaching about Kerry vs Donegal when the obvious was missed when both teams breached the 3 back rule. ; )

Dublin need to rebuild and part of that should be playing in Parnell Park or upgrading another stadium to be 20-30k max.

The days of Dubs filling Croke Park are in the past for the foreseeable.

Dubz will get huge crowds yet this season and they will be too big for the Neller The Leinster hurling final will have over 30,000 Id say and if the footbalkers get a croke park game after Louth against aMayo or Kerry Im fairly sure there will be over 50,000 at it.

Simple, Donegal didn't want to win. Look at them now.

They're not a good team tbh. The same thing happened when they beat half a donegal team in 2023. Big talk and then gone with a whimper.

" A bit of heckling is par for the course..." I could hear it all the way here in America: constant from the first minute until the 50th minute. It did die down after 50 minutes alright, not because Murphy had been subbed, but because all the Kerry fans had left the stadium, with their tails between their legs and their tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths.
