Any word on Daithi or Gavin Lee asto whether they be fit? With TJ starting for KK daithi's experiece would be useful to deal with him but trayers hasnt put a foot wrong in his absence aswell. I wonder is John Fleming anywhere near a return form injury.

Kilkenny are always a wounded animal, someone'd want to put them out of their misery at this stage

It would hardly be news that they'll turn up ready for battle, it'd be a bigger story if they didn't

Mannion was on them throughout league until last 2 games against kk and limerick where niland took over. 20s play kk next Wednesday but that won't deter their playing time this weekend . Could play a factor in latter rounds as the leinster semi is 13th May and final following wed 20th and we play dubs in between those and Wexford the weekend after 20s leinster final.. That's assuming we make it to a leinster final"
Niland has to stay on frees he's a better and more consistent free taker than mannion and also he's the future so I'm sure they'll stick with him on them from now on

Great to have Rory Burke and John Fleming back for Saturday's game. Those two were badly missed in the last round of the league against Limerick.

Minors start on Saturday away to Laois. No idea what we are up against in Leinster this year but we will have a few very strong forwards on the team - Gus Lohan, Tadhg MacCarthaigh and Anthony Poinard in particular. Concannon from Killimordaly is a classy forward as well but he is minor again next year so may not be starting this year.
