Replying To BarneyGrant:  "At least we will be spared months of nonsense about how they are going to win the World Cup.

Do they still award a Wooden Spoon?"
Dunno, but we still have won more of them than anyone else.....

Replying To BarneyGrant:  "The first half was good to watch in fairness. French played with real flair and their first try of second half was brilliant albeit aided by Three Stooges like defending.

In fairness the guys did step up to the plate for a few minutes and managed to get two messy tries to take the bad look off things. I suppose they might beat Italy,"
Since I was a child the French were always one of the best teams to watch.

Even Barney stayed watching in fairness ;-)

First half was good to watch...yeah and 22 - 0 the score lol
In fairness the French 29 - 0 took the foot off the gas job done but they were able to accelerate again towards the end. Lucky Ireland weren't beaten 40pts!
Not looking good....wonder what odds Scotland are to bate Irelande mmmmmmm interested!

It is great game to watch.

I do confess to childish and incurable pleasure in seeing the Deefur team(s) being beaten.

Too late to change now!

What was racist about it? Trump as the King of the Jungle, and everyone else (black or white) as some kind of jungle animal. Silly? Yes. Racist? No. Funny how nobody seems to care that the US violent crime rate is at its lowest since 1900 but you'll cry about a cartoon.

Replying To KillingFields:  "who says that and it isnt even confirmed he is eligible for senior irish team yet/
Hes a good player having seen him play schools and AIL but not the messiah some have made him out to be"
From my understanding he left in 2020 but not 100% when he came back but I think its 21 so should be eligible. Its what I hear from the lads at his club which includes some of the coaching staff. He got his first cap at 20 for Leinster which Sexton also did and given the choices Leinster has at 10 now that is saying something. We will know more as he plays more for Leinster but the problem is perhaps the lads in front of him. It perhaps could have made more sense for him to go to Connacht and play with Murphy which would be an exciting partnership to see.

Replying To KillingFields:  "No need to troll. And we dont need to go abroad for anyone.
We need to work on developing more players from provinces."
All very idealistic that, but one would still have to question how Ireland's success profile 2015-2025 would have looked without the contributions of Aki, Hansen, Gibson-Park, Lowe etc. Would it have been the same? Tis doubtful?

What forked tongue? I like watching rugby but don't support Ireland or Leinster for "cultural reasons."
