Mayo have some really tidy forwards coming through and I'd see Lydon Beirne as certs for senior in next few years.

if I was a betting man he will be back by 21"
Gortnor Abbey, Crossmolina, is his school JM. We'll wish him the best in AFL and welcome him back if he does return.

You really need to concentrate on your own Galway team after loosing to Meath . Instead of living rent free in a certain someones head !

Fantastic result surely ,hopefully they can go all the way ,hopefully more clubs in mayo can catch up to them and ballyhaunis

I think in time it will happen. New hurling club in south Mayo called called Moytura (based in Cong) and even St Colmans College Claremorris which would be known as a football nursery, now have a hurling team.

Why do you keep having a pop at Meath? Meath are a superior football county to Mayo historically in every way possible. They also had a better year than Mayo last year, getting to a semi final whereas Mayo were knocked out at the very first stage. Cavan beating them comfortably deciding that outcome

A semi is nothing to brag about? So the years Mayo made the final in 04 and 06 and got absolutely hockeyed by Kerry, were they not good years because of how they ended? What about 2019 when annihilated in a semi by Dublin?

Meath beat Dublin, Kerry & Galway last year, the 3 most successful counties the game has seen. It was a very good year by any standard, and one Mayo would kill for at the moment

Im mentioning Mayo because they're relevant to the discussion. You keep having pops at Meath for no reason
