Awful beatings??? Plural. You must be watching a different championship than the rest us. Correct me if I'm wrong but that team has only lost 2 games in 2025. 1 to Corofin and just edged by Tuam when Mannion shot the lights out. Average age of the team is about 22/23 with bags of quality.... not sure what your talking about. That Corofin game is an outlier is my opinion when you look at their progress. Corofin hit song that day in perfect conditions and with Gary Delaney, they had the perfect insight in that Dunmore team

No All Star along with not reaching the last 4 was a timely reminder of how much Galway underachived in 2025. 2023 was the same and followed it up with a strong campaign will be interesting to see can Galway do the same in 2026 certainly have the player quality and strength in depth to do so. Definitely I would say only kerry maybe have as much or more quality throughout armagh maybe next after them and galway. But potential only so much you have to deliver

Arguable but potential I said with some players they have they are in better position right now than mayo

Mayo only lost to Donegal by a last minutefluke of a point before they hammered meath and who meath knockedout Galway. Galway so overated . Oh how are Longford doing btw ? Kerry are out on their own I think. Although not unbeatable. Not much between the next 5 or 6 teams. Could all beat each other on any given day. And I'd include Galway amongst that bunch.

Ye I didn't say longford were doing well can't one comment on other teams just like you were on galway and kerry. Just cause from smaller county or less successful doesn't mean one can't have an opinion. Andy moran good appointment by the way to bring mayo up again a good mayo is good for the game I was just saying galway had slightly better year not great either but had potential but similar to mayo have to deliver but both will be back again near top no doubt . We were shocking this year. Worst season since 2010. You don't know much about football if you think Donegal's winner was a fluke. Same old story, we couldn't close out a big game.

So Moore's wonderful burst of speed down the wing leaving the Mayo players for dust was a fluke was it? Ha ha, as you'd say yourself. Donegal should have been out of sight that day at half time only for some poor finishing that kept Mayo in it. The Longford poster is correct to say Galway are rated above Mayo at the minute, there's no need to insult his county. Mayo couldn't make it out of a group of four where three qualify. Stop kidding yourself. I've probably less sense replying to your nonsense.

What part of Donegal's winning point was a 'fluke'? Once again we couldn't close out a game. Galway hammered us in the league and did the right things at the right time in the Connacht Final. There was no comparing us this year. 2025 was our worst season since 2010.

Fair enough it waa our worst season in a good few years. We can't close out games for sure I agree on that. But for ones to say Galway are in a better position then us I find baffling as always just a kick of ball between us .

Galway are a level or two below the main challengers to Kerry. Horrendously overrated team, I just don't get it. Being better than Mayo is no longer a yardstick for judging all Ireland credentials.

Mayo are rebuilding but have lots of talented under 20s coming up . Donegal are also overated sure ...
