yeah will post it up here soon. I actually thread to open a thread about developments squads for details like this etc,but the MOD's wouldn't allow it. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 01/07/2016 14:21:54 1874678 Link 1 |

Strange alright ziggy, I wonder are they concerned about criticism of underage players.

Ya I was thinking that. But I would only have it open for details of the games and results.I wouldn't talk about individuals etc on it.I will use this thread for it though.

Ziggy thanks for the heads up on the match. I dropped the missus up to blanch and went over to have a look. Other than giving up a few soft goals they were very impressive. There is serious talent coming through in our development teams which is really encouraging. It is important to have the younger lads in the habit of beating the likes of Dublin

Thanks for the update on the games lads, it's great to see our underage squads doing well and getting wins over Dublin at underage level can't do any harm to their confidence. Htaem (Meath) - Posts: 8657 - 02/07/2016 16:37:54 1875050 Link 1 |

Ziggy, looks like One Meath team scored 18 times and conceded 10 scores while the other scored 19 times and conceded 8. That is very impressive.

Indeed, the same group also beat Dublin a few times last season. At this level Meath are by far the best in Leinster,Dublin are the second best and I think Meath are a level or two above them.

The key is too keep as many players as possible up to minor and if so,we could have a few good minor teams in a row.We badly need that, not the odd one every 10 years. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 02/07/2016 18:01:42 1875089 Link 1 |
Agree there is a lot of talent in meath underage has been for a few years. At every level we compete up to minor. Imagine what we could do if the county board funded it properly or even just stuck to a plan. People do come up with good plans but seldom see them through. No doubt Dublin where decked out in gear today? While our lads be lucky to get jerseys

To be honest both teams had gear,I didn't see a difference between them in the this aspect at all.Dublin had a few 'big names' coaching them.
