Replying To Tempo24: "Huge victory for Aghadrumsee and its hard to begrudge them their day in the sun, I don't think too many people in the county give them much of a chance before the game.
Tough one for Newtownbutler and their players/management, where do you go from that. Rumour was they have been approached after the weekend by a well known figure in fermanagh club football to take them next year along with an ex county senior footballer.
What about the games this weekend?
The most likely outcome would be two comfortable victories for Enniskillen and Irvinestown but looking forward to watching both games.
Erne Gaels will be hoping their investment works out whilst the rest of the clubs in fermanagh's committees praying they don't because it then becomes the template for how to win a championship. Throw 45k at it!" Such jealously exposed by a Tempo representative. First of all, what business is it of yours what Erne Gaels's strategy use! Maybe, if Tempo spent more on the team than they have digging out hills and still haven't proper dimensional playing areas and parking that is so chaotic that it will never be the preferred Fermanagh GAA standby stadium they strive for.
As for your predictions, one has already failed with Lisnaskea deservingly taking the honours! Tomorrow, in the senior final against E'n Gaels, whatever the result, Erne Gaels can walk away with they heads held high, something that will take Tempo a long, long time achieve!

Tailteann Cup Group 4 Round 3
Fermanagh v Antrim
Athletic Grounds, Armagh at 15:00
A huge game and our lads need to be in top form as Antrim is energised following a good season for them.
I don't agree with macca999 and his dig at McNally as he has been really as great asset to Fermanagh not just in goals but as the extra man, a role where he has made a significant difference.
Yes, Kelm would be more effective up front but wasn't his fault that management positioned him further out.
I think encouraging the players comes to from supporting them whatever happens on the day and not by constantly fault finding, so ease of with your criticism Mr Macca!!

Replying To macca999: "Yes he had trial with Fremantle in 2021 but hip injury stopped it plus covid didn't help.
Definitely begrudge him the opportunity to become a professional athletes, had been expected would revisit this avenue, be a big loss for sure to the county team." What kind of statement is that in which you begrudge Ultan Kelm the opportunity to become a professional player down under? The cheek of you, after all he has done for our county team! No wonder others refer to you as a pot stirrer.

Fermanagh Club Championship 2018 - 1 Like(s)
Fixtures update:
The Reserve A & B FC finals were scheduled to take place Sunday 16th September are now postponed due to the Brookeboro and Lisnaskea clubs being involved replays. The details of the latter replays are scheduled as follows:
Sunday 16th September in Roslea
JFC QF Replay
Brookeboro v Derrylin at Roslea @ 14:30 PM (Extra Time if Needed)
IFC SF Relegation Replay
Lisnaskea v Maguiresbridge at Roslea @ 15:30 PM (Extra Time if Needed)
(It should be noted that if Brookeboro lose their game and Lisnaskea win their game, their involvement in the JFC and IFC will be concluded for this year and it should therefore be possible to play the Reserve Championship finals on the weekend of 21/22/23 September. As a result of the draw in the Junior Football Championship, it will also be necessary to postpone the scheduled date of the Junior Championship final by one week until the weekend of 28/29/30 September).
Ulster Club Championship
The winners of all three Fermanagh Club Championships will be in action in the Ulster Championship on the 20/21 October, so there remains sufficient time to play the concluding stages of the Senior Football Leagues as planned.

Fermanagh Club Awards 2018 - 1 Like(s)
Replying To allfermanagh: "Erneboy what do you think is a better reflection of the championship performances. The Irish news awards or the Fermanagh club all start awards?" I think the Irish News lineup reflects better how the players were selected on merit. Although, this issue may general debate on how the awards by each awarding organisation selected their respective AllStars, the Irish News has just edge it terms of explaining their rationale for selecting the best club players for various game positions.

Comment:
It should be noted that many Fermanagh GAA supporters are not happy with the Fermanagh GAA website as club fixtures and league tables are being published exclusively in the Irish club name. While it's nice to have an element of the Irish language reflected on the site, the current Fermanagh GAA's website practice isn't meeting the expectations of those who have never learned the language or have limited knowledge of it and is limited to those who have learned the language mostly at Grammar Schools here in the county - that's honest the reality of the situation.
