The people of Milltownpass were left shocked by the death of Walter (Watt) McNamee following a drowning accident near his home on December 29 last. Aged 63 and a native of the Coralstown area, Walter was a father-of-six and also a grandfather.  He was a great GAA supporter, and sold countless tickets down the years for his local GAA club's weekly lottery.
