Barney (Bernard) was a dedicated Caulry clubman who for many years was deeply involved in the running of the club. He served as vice-chairman for eight years and celebrated his 90th birthday on the day Caulry won the intermediate championship in 2014 at Rosemount's expense. Fittingly, his grandson Alan was to the fore on that memorable day, lining out at wing forward.

Over his lifetime, the Mount Temple man rarely missed a Caulry match or function and will be forever remembered for the loyal supporter he was.
