Willie, late of Gartlandstown, Crookedwood, was a prominent hurler with both Crookedwood and Clonkill. He was a member of the 'Wood team that defeated Fr Dalton's in the 1986 junior championship final. Willie also lined out for the Multyfarnham footballers.
