From Whitehall, Castlepollard, local farmer and GAA supporter Brendan Bacon passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017. A pillar of the local community, he was well-liked and deeply-respected by all who knew him. Brendan lived across the road from Ringtown Hurling Club's pitch and they certainly couldn't have asked for a better neighbour.
